Dear Prospective Vendor,

SBS is seeking a highly-motivated and well-qualified firm (“Consultant”) to develop and deliver legal assistance group training workshops to Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) and non-profit economic development organizations participating in the Avenue NYC program. As an integral component of the capacity-building support that SBS will offer its non-profit partner organizations, the legal assistance services offered by the Consultant should impart organizations with specific knowledge in the following four areas: best practices in BID by-laws, personnel law and management, fundraising law and regulation, and a Board’s role in corporate governance. This letter and the accompanying materials are a formal invitation to you to submit a response to this solicitation.
