- I am a family law attorney who handles divorces, annulments, child custody and support issues, orders of protection as well as civil litigation and appeals. These actions can range from highly contested courthouse wars to simple uncontested actions. While my preference is to just get clients through the divorce process in the most efficient manner and without the needless rancor, I have no problem going to battle on behalf of a client provided what they seek is proper and within the bounds of the law. I am a frequent commentator on the New York State Bar Associations Family Law listserv as well as a lecturer to other attorneys, accountants and other professionals on matrimonial law issues.
I am also a member of the Family Law Section of the NYS Bar, as well as on two Civil Practice Law & Rules committees. I also take other kinds of unique, esoteric cases generally involving unusual or unique points of law. I was a Supreme Court Law Librarian for 10 years and enjoy researching legislative history and other legal points of interest.
