- In 2007, I completed a four-year Joint Degree J.D./LL.B Program with the Michigan State University College of Law and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Common Law. This program provided me with the opportunity to achieve law degrees in the United States and Canada, as well as the ability to obtain an in-depth understanding of how both legal systems interact as the two economies become increasingly integrated. I am the second American to finish this program and feel fortunate that I had the unique opportunity to study and compare the intricacies of the law in two different nations. Additionally, I have completed my LL.M in Taxation at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and have been sworn in as an attorney in the State of California. I’m looking to focus my legal practice within the tax planning and controversy arena.
