- I am a Certified Public Accountant as well as a former IRS agent. My area of specialization is tax. I specialize in helping businesses and individuals resolve their tax problems. These can be issues with the IRS or a state or municipal taxing authority. Tax problems come in three basic flavors: businesses or individuals who have not filed tax returns for several years and need to get up-to-date; personal or corporate tax returns that are being audited by a Federal or local taxing agency; entities that owe back taxes and the government is threatening enforcement action. I work with the taxpayer to get a better outcome than they would get on their own since I am able to remove emotion from the process. I also work with people who do not currently have tax problems and wish to avoid having them in the future.
